Thanks to the M5 motorway, you can reach Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter in less than 60 minutes and Birmingham, Oxford, Reading and Southampton in a couple of hours.
The A303, which is a primary route from London to the South West, also goes directly through Somerset and London can be reached in 2.5 hrs.
High speed rail services from Taunton link Somerset to cities across the UK, with direct trains linking Bristol in 30 minutes and London taking less than 2 hours.
Two international airports – Bristol and Exeter – can be reached in a 30-45 minute drive. More than 100 direct flights on our doorstep include short hops to Europe’s busiest hubs of Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt; and cities like Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin.
The Port of Bristol is close by offering deep water services for automotive; dry bulk; containers and liquids, with links to most European ports and global access via Antwerp.
